Ladybug Tag Blanket

I came up with this idea a long time ago, but I have not had the time to actually do it until this week.  I actually made this for a friend's baby that was born 6 months ago! lol. I just made my own ladybugs and stitched them onto the background fabric. Then I added the ribbon to it all! I love these ladybugs! I cant wait to make some more!
For the back, I just used black. Nothing really special.

  1. Hi, I love to see what other people make and I really like your ladybug taggies – how nice that you actually hand stitched them on the top. My daughter is 3 years old now so taggies are long gone but I am so fond of them – there is something so cute in the combination of fabric and ribbon – and one can experiment as much as they want. And since there are quite a few new born babies around me at the moment I have every reason to be making taggies so I made a round one yesterday with the letter on the front.

  2. Your ladybugs are adorable. I hope someone will clue me in...what are taggies?
